Was it really a 10 point game. I thought it was seven.

Belfry was down like 15+ points and came back within 5 in the 4th quarter. The Lady Pirates didn't look like their timing was down very well. I think that they will be ok in the end. JC looked like they can make quick points but when they let up, the other team can take control.

The girls B-ball looks like it's going to be exciting.

JCHS beat a good Belfry team. They're further along than what I thought, which is not good news for the 15th region. JCHS will be in the thick of things all year.

I was really frustrated watching Belfry play last night. Why did they keep doing the same play to the inside over and over? I don't think they go any points from that play. Was it that they're not used to playing against the zone or what?

Also, at the end of the first quarter, Belfry was within four points when the coach pulled out the players and changed back the the starting lineup, that's when JC went ahead by 20 before the half. The girls were causing turnovers and had real momentum going into the second quarter, why change what is working for you?

Coach Gannon is a good coach, but I think that some coaching mistakes helped lead to the loss in this case.
