Holmes 20 Scott 9
#1
final

Another nice and solid win for Holmes

Holmes improves to 7-1 on the season. I'm pretty sure they're just 2 wins away from tieing or breaking a school record for wins. I believe in the early 2000's they finished 9-3 or 8-3 one season?

Scott played them very well tonight, contrary to what many people thought it would go.

No. 8 ranked Holmes had a convincing 20-9 win over Scott. Holmes had 298 yards total offense.

Junior running back Damian Oden had 123 yards rushing on 14 carries with two touchdowns. Holmes improves to 7-1 on the season

Scott did what was expected and lost. No matter how you say it Scott is not progressing nor getting better.

I'll agree with Scott losing, but Holmes did not come and do what was expected of them and lay it out on a poor Scott team. Scott has had success against Holmes the past few years and this game continues to re-iterate my point.

I'd say Scott's success against Holmes recently had a lot more to do with Holmes being down, than Scott improving as a program.

Let's not forget Holmes is a very young team this year with I believe only 6 or 7 seniors who start.

where as Scott has half their team as seniors.
Again winning 4 times in the last 11 tries is not a whole lot of success

Sure in the past decade I can agree with that but I've been talking about the most recent years. Generally I've always liked to judge how a team is doing against another by every 4 years because then you will completely different players in those spans due to graduation.

Fair enough. The current coach has not beaten Holmes. The current Seniors beat them once. So 1 out of 3 may be good in baseball but it's not much in football nor fails to met recent success

Tough game for Scott. I think things in Taylor Mill are looking down.
