well perry county is one spot behind mercer who breathitt destroyed and perry just beat breathitt lol. and perry still has a lower rating than breathitt who is 1-3 and perry is 3-0. i am glad they moved up some spots though but i still never have liked how cantrall does his ratings. some of this stuff makes no sense, like another thing, how johnson central still has a higher rating than sheldon clark after just getting beat by them. i dont think this guy pays much attention to mountain schools other than bell. he just sticks the rest of us in a spot and gives us a rating.

Yea, there are alot of rating on here that don't make alot of sense. Lone Oak beat Lex Cath in a close game but now they are tied for 3rd in 4A. Usually if a team ranked 4 beat a team ranked 3, they would trade places in the polls. At the same time, there are alot of teams to rank and much like the BCS system, the formula is mostly accurate with a few flaws.

Usually if a team ranked 4 beat a team ranked 3, they would trade places in the polls. At the same time, there are alot of teams to rank and much like the BCS system, the formula is mostly accurate with a few flaws.
Site of the game goes into consideration also. The Lex Cath game was @ LO. I think his ratings are the most un-biased ones you will see b/c he uses stats and other numerical factors instead of opinion.

I enjoy these rankings. I really like the 4A rankings. They are the most accurate ones I have seen, in my opinion.
Although West Jess has had an easy schedule, they are still 4-0. They need to be at least in the top 10. That is my only flaw with the 4A rankings.

Anyone surprised to see Belfry at #2 in 3A despite being 2-2?

Well Belfry has been competitive in each of the games they've played against top 10 teams from their respected classes (besides Boyd County) thus far and won one of them.

I am surprised to see central is still #1 in 3a with a 1-3 record.
