**NOTE: This isn't directed at all posters**
Now, I get on here a lot and read but don't post too often because I am in lexington and out of the loop on what is going on in EKY basketball. But it seems as if every time that I get on here there are always stupid posts by Some fans. I mean, come on guys, this is a free site where we are supposed to have fun and insightful talk. Why do you have to come in here posting BS material that is sometimes hurtful to not only people from other schools but your school too. Why can't you grow up and be mature. I was assume you are in high school. Act like you know something and show some class!!
This might be hard for you, since some still avt like you are 10, but, maybe, just maybe, you could act like an adult and not a little annoying ass!
I'm sure I speak for more than just myself when I post this too :thumb:

This thread is being watched closely.
The idea is good, but the problem is the blunt of thread is directed towards a specific group that can and will take offense. There are posters for many other schools that do the same so there was little need to direct most of the attention towards a certain group.
I ask everyone to try to keep this thread clean so it won't have to be closed for senseless bickering and arguing. Like was stated, let's keep all the talk on the board "fun and insightful."

no not threatning anyone......just warnin him before anyone goes off on the wrong note and says or does something wrong or mean to somone.....and i agree this thread should be watch or even deleted b/c it has chances of gettin bad

I'm not trying to cause trouble. I'm just trying to get these guys to quit posting stupit ****. I mean we have a great thing here at BGR were we don't have to pay and all. Why abuse it? Esp. by making fun of people like they have. I just don't see why they have to be so mature. Hell, they are in high school, and this still get a kick out of making fun of people. Grow up guys....wherever you go to school!!!

I have to agree with UKCATS. I'ts like there are some that post very unkind comments on nearly every thread. I ask myself why? But then again I also ask why do people create viruses to damage computer progams and and computers themselves. They will always be around. I guess for some they aren't having fun unless their making someone else unhappy or mad.

Part of your statement UKCATS has some merit, however, I too am from Lexington and I see no need to generalize your comments toward Eastern Kentucky topics or posters. This is 2005, it really shouldn't have to be stated explicitly that there are people like this in all parts far and wide, including Lexington. Unfortunately, people such as those posters that come here and flaunt their ignorance are widespread, and are in no way representative of any significant region's inhabitants or ideas.

I think he was just trying to point out the fact that the majority of these posts were from a certain group putting down another certain group..

Then he should have specified the "certain groups" instead of stereotyping all posters from the region as similar and guilty of this type of posting. Because that indeed is not the case. In saying that he is "out of the loop on EKY basketball", he singles out posters of that theme as those that are in question when we know that not everyone that posts or keeps up with EKY basketball should be associated with the "certain groups" we are talking about.
