Who All Thinks Allen central Could Go 10-0 This Year?
#31
They will go 7-4 counting a first round playoff loss..a nice season but not an undefeated one for the Rebs..good luck though to AC!

Allen Central could go undefeated with this schedule and still be a mediocre team.
#33
it is possible but i am going to say that 8-2 is what they are going to finish
#34
7-3 at best...
#35
7-3, They Scrimmaged Shelby Valley and Valley basically played with Allen Central, Allen couldnt stop the run or the pass, and allen also couldnt move the chains any either. but good luck this season, i will say this should be your best season. BUT you will not go 10-0!!

When they beat a team that they shouldn't, then I might think otherwise. But like mentioned in a previous post, because you beat a team that is rebuiling everything from the team/coaches to there locker rooms 62-0 doesn't mean that you are going to run the table.
I don't understand how you can say that these teams will "drum" them. They only lost two starters from last years team, and don't get me wrong Josh Prater was a good QB, but when did they throw the ball? So that's not going to make much of a difference. These games could easily be losses for AC, but they could just as easily be wins also.

Josh Prater threw nine passes last year against Harlan. Does he get to be a senior twice?

No, AC has 20 starters back how many does Harlan have that is the question since you made the statement that harlan has more returning

It sounds like they both lost two starters.
It's going to be hard to make up 40 points that way.

So I'm guessing that Allen Central plays Besty Lane week 9? Well you can go ahead and mark that down as a win for Allen Central. Congrats on the win.

Allen Central cant mark anyone down for a "W". If they come out with a big head they will get pounded. Along with there district foes they will have a hard time with Harlan, a team who blew AC out last post season and East Ridge a team that always plays a tough schedule and beat Harlan earlier in the preseaon this season. Its honestly untelling how many games they will win. Just take it one game at time.

At best 7-3. The only teams they play this year that are actually ok is Harlan, Paintsville, and Pikeville. Pikeville and Paintsville might be at there lowest point in their school's history IMO, and AC is at their best the last two years and still can't beat them. Start putting some strength on your schedule and maybe you will know what it feels like to play some **** good football teams. Pikeville and Paintsville plays **** good quality teams every year, they might get there butts stomped but when they play district teams it seems to be a lot easier to lay it on them.

According to the stats from the game, Hunter Crowder had eight carries for 52 yards and Logan Crowder had 26 yards on eight carries.

It was 46-6, so it's not very smart to disrespect a team that demolished you the year before and has more starters coming back than you do.
How many starters do they have coming back?

Ladies and gentleman, the longest run-on sentence in the history of mankind.

As for Allen Central going 10-0, it could happen. And there's the possibility I could become a rocket scientist. But, with the lack of knowledge I have, it doesn't look good. I think Allen Central may be the next Shelby Valley; proclaimed to be the best team in the mountains, then get knocked back down to Earth when you play the big boys.

If paintsville and pikeville play good quality teams , and Allen Central is so bad then why do they play them??????????????????????

Harlan lost two starters. They have a big senior class this year.

the old WASP Wrote:If paintsville and pikeville play good quality teams , and Allen Central is so bad then why do they play them??????????????????????
Because they are in the same district...
#48
I don't think that will happen I got faith in t he rebs but 10-0 just dont see it
#49
10-0 Not a chance. ACHS may have their best shot at winning the district with Paintsville and Pikeville experiencing down years, but those two on a down year is at least equal to and probably better than ACHS on their best year. That's the scenerio now.

Love my Floyd Co. teams, but ACHS will never move into the contender category until they start playing top tier teams.

The problem is no top tier team wants to schedule them because it's a throw awayy game, maybe they can get some JV competition or have thier middle school team play other top middle school programs in the region?

not a chance

For some reason im not suprised you asked such a question. :lmao:

But if you did not know you have to play teams in your district. Which is why i said you should play top quality teams to get you ready for distrcit play which Paintville and Pikeville do every year. And that is why almost every year they roll over teams in their district.

After reading the post and seeing how high the AC fans are over the Jenkins win??????? I can't see it happening but the AC fans are optimistic.

Well if it makes you feel any better, if the KHSAA did not require that we play each other, I doubt either Pikeville or Paintsville would schedule Allen Central.
#54
allen central is in a very weak confrence in my opinion...but there not even the third best team in that district...
