Freshman Football Players across the state

Who are some of the top Frosh so far this season? The season is young but I would have to throw a couple of players out there that I have seen so far. Witnessing only one game so far, the Highlands/St. X game, here are a few top players.

Gabe Schultz- OL Highlands
Jac Collinsworth-RB- Highlands
Donovan McCoy- QB- Highlands
Clyburn- #50 LB St. X
Tudor- QB St. X
Jones- #10 WR I believe for St. X

Lets hear about some more from all over the state.

Caleb Bentley from Lawrence County a very good running back with great speed and vision.

Johnathan Jackson fr. 6 foot 190, starts as outside linebacker all ready for Mayfield High school.Plays rb some also touched the ball one time in his first varsity game and scored a td. also had about 10 tackles in first start.

james may 6" 195lb o-lineman at belfry, quick off the ball perect form great feet. also plays solid d-line and linebacker

Josh King..6'..215 LBS..LB..FB..Powell Co. He was in the Johnson Central backfield more than the JC backfield. He will be a force to reckon with once he learns the system better. Powell's JV beat Johnson's JV 8-0 last Mon.

Tay has the speed and runs very hard he will be one of the leading rushers in the state in the next three years. T Barnes gets most of the carries this year but you will hear his name a lot his sophomore, junior and senior year at Bourbon County HS

I really hope that there aren't that many freshmen getting significant minutes across the bluegrass, because honestly that doesn't say much about the state of high school football in KY.

Shelby Caudill of Grant County. He plays Safety. He intercepted a pass and had several tackles his first game.
