That was awesome! That punter could scoot too! Problem is they will have a hard time catching anybody off guard now, just IMO.

I don't think they will because you always practice for a fake punt. Every team has one, its just about knowing the right time to call it.

It would be, if it were used in an actual game or meaningful game. It was great, but why waste it in the preseason?

The opposing teams for the whole season will have this play in the backs of their minds. That alone will keep them off guard, keep them guessing.

It won't keep them guessing, it'll keep them expecting. This play is a long shot to begin with, to try and use it and it work again? Dumb move, save it for an actual game. If they were to get the play off, which isn't that simple, they couldn't even get a first let alone at TD.
