The Powers that be wasted little or no time matching The best against the best in outside regional play. None other than The Legendary Clay County tigers Pitted against the up and coming Breathitt County squad Dec 14th which may be a review of things to come.
The other early on right outa the gate if you will is the Fan Favorite (on this Site anyways) the Letcher County Central team against the 2nd year Harlan County lady bears out of the mountains of the what was once known as bloody harlan.
I believe from what i have seen in scrimmages and all star games that the 13th regional teams are more hungry for respect and will not only fare well in these games but possibly handily win both contests.
The Harlan county squad have jelled together after amassing rival schools.
took there lumps last year and seem quite confident this year.
Clay county well is still Just plain and simple CLAY COUNTY the most
highly respected and:1: feared team in the mountains. nuff sed.
blow the whistle and let the games begin!!!!!

anything could happen...all 4 teams are cocked and loaded for bear to
phrase an old saying.
ever vying for a sweet sixteen spot.
