Congrats Johnson!

Congrats Randy! Randy has been one of my favorite MLB pitchers for along time.
#3
24th pitcher of all-time to reach this milestone.

Couldn't have happened to a better player... congrats Randy!

I really think that Randy will be the last pitcher to reach 300 wins. At least for next 30 years or so.

No, it couldn't have. Randy is an outstanding individual and athlete.

What about Halladay or Greinke? They are off to a great start. But I agree, it will be very difficult to get to that milestone.

I was glad to see it. It was getting depressing to see him lose everytime he tried to get it.

I've heard and read a few reports saying it was on his first attempt at getting actual #300. They went on to say that he was one of a handfull that got it on his first attempt. Not trying to cause an argument or anything as I really don't keep up w/ MLB as much as I used to, just wondering why that was reported when it happened.

As a boy, I got to see Nolan Ryan's 299th over the Tigers at old Tiger Stadium in Detroit. Big Cecil missed a walk off grand slam by about 2 feet. Ryan was my hero when I was growing up playing LL and Babe Ruth. It's one of my fondest memories growing up.

As many pitches Glavine and Maddux got called for strikes 10 inches off the plate they should be the all time winners.

Good to see the Big Unit get win 300.
