Was looking at the Spring tourney that Lawrence Co is in Florida during spring break and man there is a lot of teams from right here in the mountains playing in the say tourney.

It's not a tournament. It's a chance for teams to play in baseball weather. There are also practice and JV oppurtunities. I think its a tragedy that Kentucky starts baseball in March. How many games do teams acually get in? Even the ones with decent facilities have a hard time. I wish the KHSAA would take a serious look at this. I love all sports but baseball in this state will always be at a disadvantage. June and July are baseball weather months. However, this state would rather practice football and basketball. This all equals that the people who make decisions about policy don't care about baseball or any sport considered to be non-revenue.!!! Just my opinion.

Duh I know its not a tourney for the sake of argument.... but most big events will throw the tag on it as a Tourney even if it isnt.... Baseball has always started at the end of March just like the Big leagues!!!!!

just throwing it out there, big leagues havent started yet. Oh and if your talking baout spring training? You see that the teams are in either Florida or Arizona. Places where you can actually play in march.

Duh I never said they were anywhere else. I just stated that they start around the same time...
