What's Western Hills like in basketball? I know of good Frankfort and Franklin Co teams, but never Western Hills....

Kenton Roberts is out for the rest of the season as a result of an assault in the Johnson Central game.
The player that hit him got one game, and the players that came to Kenton's aid got one game. In all with injuries and suspensions Estill will be without 2 starters and 5 players in the Western Hills game.

God be with Kenton and his family. The player that hit him deserves so much more than just a one game suspension. He deserves at least being removed from KHSAA athletics, and at the greatest to be placed in jail. Too bad the referees, policemen, and coaches partly could not control their benches in order to keep more players from being suspended.

I am not saying fighting is a good thing, but some of you people want this kid banned of atheletics. Come on he probably should have gotten more than one game, but banned no. He made a mistake and I pray that the kid that got hurt a full a quick recovery. When you pushes kids in competetion regretfully this sometimes happen and don't think there was not other things that went on. I'm sure he just hit him because he felt like it.

I just have to ask what would any of your response be if you were slapped in the face.Would you just walk away or would you respond.Maybe he did not respond in the right way but just ask yourself what would you do.

OK....listen....I am from Estill County, and a HUGE fan and supporter of our kids, but this thread IS NOT about what happened at Breathitt County against Johnson Central. Yes, it is VERY bad and unfortunate what happened to Kenton and I don't agree with the actions of every one involved, but every thread and every comment does not have to have this brought up. You guys from Estill are the ones that is keeping this going, and personally, I think it needs to stop....grant it, I can't control what is said, because we all have our right to speak our minds, but, I personally think, enough is enough. Let's put all our energy and thoughts to Kenton and Trey and get behind our team and support them...your/our energy and thoughts are better served that way that to keep coming on here and constantly bringing this subject up.

Some including me - will never forget what happened and until people own up to the actions will never forgive that action. So if people need to work things out on here so be it.
