Coach Tolliver was thrown out of JV game for arguing a call. He was unable to coach varsity team.

Trust me he has not said one bad thing about the cheerleaders! He is a great coach and works his butt off. Anyone who doesnt think so dont know what they are talkin about.

It's good to see that LCC has different players putting up numbers on the board. That's what I like to see... everyone getting involved. How many seniors does LCC got?

2-Baker and Kincer

what did he do? I was told he was beligerent toward the officials. Telling one that he did not know how to blow his whistle and asking if that was his first game. This cannot be tolerated by the Jenkins BOE.

What coach would not take up for his kids. He was questioning a call and the ref went overboard. He was embarrassed and most did not know he had been ejected. The BOE would not pursue such an event if any members were there.

I was at the game and Coach Tolliver did not deserve to get thrown out of the game, he never once said anything that warranted an ejection..I was close enough to hear it all and the Referree was just young and the Jenkins fans on the other was not helping, several Jenkins fans had been giving the Refs a hard way to go from the start of the game...Anyone that has been around basketball would be posting comments about BOE needing to get involed with this Coach Tolliver is doing a good job with the girls at Jenkins and I am a LCC fan...

Who was the ref, PM me and let me know.

If you were close enough to hear, share with us, what did he say? If is was the JV game, I am sure it was young officials but that does not mean a coach intentionally tries to embarrass an official.

I heard the same things.

I think it is funny how people think that just because Jenkins didn't lose anyone from last year, they should be able to play with LCC. People they lost one of the best people and coaches around. Bentley done everything for the school and was a great coach to boot. He got those girls to do things they no one thought they could do and believe they could. Not saying Tolliver won't be a good one down the road, but there is no replacing Coach Bentley. Letcher also is a totally different team and the loss to Jenkins will NEVER happen again. That was just one of those things that happened due to a bunch of girls wanting to stay together and all stayed back. They will be great for years to come and from what it looks like Jenkins won't have to worry about it too much longer because their doors will be closed soon if they keep up some of the things that has been going on. How many 40 point losses does it take to make the people realize it's not going to happen again??????

It wasn't anything that any coach would say to any ref during the course of a game.

The young Ref did not know how to react to the parents more than anything and he took it out on Coach Tolliver and I agree just ask his assistants..I also know that this same Ref called the game at Jenkins and I heard him tell Coach Tolliver that he could not talk to him or ask him any questions..I think he had it out for him from the start...

Coach Bentley was a decent coach, but he abandoned his girls after the season had already started. I give props to Coach Tolliver for stepping in after the season had already began to help out the girls.
& if LCC is so good, why did they loose last year?? Their definitely beatable, everyone is. Just because they are good this year, does not mean that they will never loose to Jenkins again. Every team goes through changes every season. Some improve, others worsen.
oh, and jenkins is not shutting down anytime soon, trust me. The school is finally on the right track to improvement

There is Nothing wrong with the Jenkins lady Cavaliers. They may have been through a couple of coach changes, bu now they have found the best coach any team could ask for. Since Coach Tolliver has stepped in to the position and has done nothing but great things for the team. Has anyone else noticed the lady Cavs improvement since he has came??? i sure have. Jenkins is one of the most improved teams in not only the district, but the region. I personally would like to let Coach T know how much not only me but the community appreciates him. Thank you.
as for LCC...the only thing they have over Jenkins is depth. They can sub in players that are just as good as their starting 5. Because of that, they can wear teams energy down while they can bring one gil in after another that is fresh.

They have improved, no doubt but he has some things to learn about addressing officials in this area. I know they play Cordia and they are close, close that they may go to region, that would be great for the new coach and the team.

oh, come on.
He addresses the officials as any other coach would.
He did nothing wrong.
So what? he got thrown out of one game.
It was a young official who obviously wasn't paying attention to the game like a good official should.
you just had to of seen the call.
His reaction was that of what any other coach would've done, even Dickie Adams.

coach tolliver did nothing wrong
he spoke to the refs. calmly, and simply asked how the call made was a foul but when one of his players were knocked to the ground it wasn't.
if you weren't there you have no right to go run your mouth about what "supposedly happened.
and just because lcc beat jenkins this game and the one before that doesn't mean that's what will happen at district. in case you forgot jenkins got their butts kicked by lcc both times last year but ended up beating them in district. so we will see who comes out on top come district time
