High School Football Player Dies In Crash

A tragic accident in Garrard County. A high school football player is dead after a late night crash.

Police say 17-year old Jonathan McCullough was driving home last when he got into a single car accident on KY 52.

The accident happened around 10 Tuesday night, but no one discovered McCullough or his car until around eight Wednesday morning.

Grief counselors were on hand at the school to help students and McCullough's fellow players deal with his death.

McCullough was a senior wide reciever on the Garrard High football team.

I haven't heard of this young man but I will keep his family and friends in my thoughts. So many people having their lives taken at such a young age. This is a tragedy for Kentucky once again. Peace be within their hearts.
