Im pretty sure that Breathitt will be at the top. They have most of the starters back. Shouse and Southwood are the only two from last years team that are gone.

I think the region is pretty much wide open. Nobody in the region has a big dominant center. I think Perry, Letcher, Lesie, Breathitt, and Knott will battle for the regional title.

6th Man - Back 5'6

Perry should have a solid bench with Katie Eversole, Brittney Neace, Angela Eldridge, Ashley Neace, and Brittney Miller contributing. Any of the girls listed could possibly start though. Ashley Neace can shoot the 3 as good as anyone in the region. I dont know if she can play good enough defense to beat out Napier and Rankin for the 4 position though.

I am glad to see Sharaye getting some well deserved respect. She may not score a lot of points but she never cares to do whatever it takes to win! She is a true athlete!

For 2, knott without the best point guard in the region will hurt them whether they think it will or not.
For 3, Cats Pause don't take into consideration the 8th graders coming up that will make an immediate impact for Perry. They have 2 that will probably start or get more time than anyone else.

Both Knott and Breathitt are way over rated. Letcher is loaded and Perry will be tough to run with. Leslie has a good young team that will surprise a lot of people too.

Here is the way I look at it LCC might have a good group of freshman but they haven't done 1 thing on the varsity level there is a big difference in middle school and high school. Some of you people want to give them all of this hype which is ok because thats all it is until they do something vs. a good team on the high school level. As for PCC they're going to be in the same boart as Letcher Central is and yes Randy will end up with 15 or 20 wins but who couldn't with the teams he plays. I think the teams he has played in the last 3or 4 years is why he hasn't went to the state in the last few years I don't think his teams have been ready to play in those regional championship games like the past. I think Knott Co. has done a good job of getting a strong bunch of teams to play and prepare for the regional tournament. And Breathitt Co. always has a really strong schedule with teams like Clay Co. and usaully a Lexington team or 2 asa well as playing in a big Christmas Tourny.

may i say alot of people are overrating pcc on here i mean what have they done to make somebody think they should even be in a discussion with lcc and breathitt. i mean come on breathitt blew them out in the tourney at pcc.

I think the battle will be between LCC and Breatthitt Co. Also on the ranking the Hovee girl is definitely under-rated. I have seen her play and she is very talented!
