Final Paintsville 57 Betsy Lane 30.
Lady Tigers come away with the win. Girls took a quarter to settle down and then they started to flow. Was impressed by the way they played defense. They played a whole lot more aggressively on the defensive end last night. Have seen them ever play that aggressive. Was impressed. They also finished 12/12 from the stripe, girls were filling the lanes on fast breaks and played as a team. They also got some good quality time from some of the younger Lady Tigers as well.
Chaffins - 20
Carroll - 14
Great job Lady Tigers.

The ladycats were without one of the starters which also leads them in scoring in Megan Hamilton.

Yep, Heard she was in a car wreck the day before. She looked a little busted up around her mouth last night. Hope she has a speedy recovery and gets back on the court soon. She is a good ball player.

The Lady Cats are young also, look for them to be a contender as soon as all players return to play without their injuries. Also, Coach Reynolds will have them lined out in a few weeks and we will see a new team.

This was the ladycats first game of the season. They were playing without Hamilton who is a key player and Martin and Meade are back fresh off of knee injuries. In a few weeks when everyone is healthy they will be a strong team.
