Only on on here that I know that plays Is Crazytaxidriver. He is actually pretty good too. If your into the John Mayer musichh: He is usually on around 5pm..

I play some guitar but not enough to teach anyone. It's more like a learning thing for me too. Sorry Elizabeth, but as QQ said, maybe CTD would be interested.. I hear that he is pretty good at it.

Since you are a girl, he might be willing to help ya out, we all know how CTD is, watch out! lol

I can play the guitar and I learned on my own. I bought a chord chart book and learned one chord at a time. Before I knew it, I could play. After that, it's all rythym. From then, I went on to learn tablature. I've now been playing for over 2 years and haven't stopped. I love to play and while hands-on training is a good way to learn, I found learning to play easier on my own.

I played one chord at a time. It was only until I learned one that I moved on to the next chord. If it doesn't work for you, I'd suggest hands-on training. It worked for me, may not everyone.

another problem is that well girlz have smller handz i think and my fingerz dont stretch to good to make all of the chords

Something to remember is, no matter who you are, you aren't goin to be able to play over night.. It will take at least a month of everday playing to get your fingers used to it.. Because nothing you ever do in life will require your fingers to move the way they do to play a guitar..

As for lessons, sound house music does give lessons, but they are hard to get, and the one person i reccommend there is John Campbel (sp?).. But if you want to learn how to play, i would suggest taking a couple lessons with someone, then learning on your own.. cause people can explain things that books can't. and show little tips and tricks..

I've been playing for about 8 years or so, and the thing i've found out that helps is trying to play with people that are better than you.. it makes you try harder.. and it helps..

I agree have the same trouble. Its somewhat hypnotizing.
