Kenny Watson Cut, Henry Signed

Kenny Watson was cut to free-up a roster spot for Chris Henry, who will play in his first game on Sunday against the Cowboys after serving a four-game suspension.

I believe we have the best receiving core in the NFL with TJ, Chad, and Henry, but the line just needs to give Carson time to stand in the pocket.

Thoughts?

But cutting Kenny Watson to do it? Couldn't you find someone else to cut? I mean you're looking at our horse that was very impressive last year in replacing Rudy. I just don't understand. I would cut Chris "fumble" Perry before I would cut Watson.

I think Carson has some awesome options to throw to in Henry, Johnson, and T.J. He has the tools around him to win some games, but the line needs to block.

With Watson injured, its unlikely anyone will pick him up. If not,its possible the Bengals might re-sign him next week.

The Bengals have a very good receiving group...but how long will Henry play until he is in trouble with the police again?

Watson's what, 30? and they don't want to invest time and faith in someone who won't be around much longer. They're banking on Perry to hang around and finally stop fumbling and produce like they thought he would when they drafted him.

Signing Cedric Benson was a good move, to me. I think he looks real good.

Also, throw in Utecht, but, yes, the line needs to give him time.

If he gets in trouble again, I'll have to say "Ok, I'm ignorant," but I think that he's matured a bit and will stay out of trouble.
