Those are terrible.

Typically, the LIT rankings are not very accurate until later in the season.
They are computer generated.
They are computer generated.

How can you be ranked in the top ten with two losses already this year? What a joke. They need a new computer!

Henry County ranked #1 in 3a:lmao:
Henry County has played Trimble County,Ludlow so far. Those are some true powerhouses they played.

True, but everyone would agree that they would like to see their team get the recognition they deserve.

You say the play is on the field. So then answer me this, when you loose two in a row how can you be in the top ten?

I too was surprised to see Henry Co. up there, but that means nothing to me.....I still think Central and E-Town are better, as are Belfry, Russell and Breathitt from the east.

They need to start drug testing because someone who ever put those rankings together is smoking crack.

I don't believe you can drug test a computer. :p
Again, these are computer generated rankings.

After looking at those ratings, I wouldn't doubt it.

OK, how about this, generate a poll where all BGR mambers can vote the top twenty and see what the outcome is. Do it by a percentage because of the bias of members in certian regions. Do it by classes. and by districts and regions. not just a select few but by all members.

Well any poll with Danville, Fort Campbell and Boyle has some merit I guess.

I like the idea, but I don't know how that would work because its much easier adding up votes from by 5-10 people rather than 20-50+.

BCA and I just spoke and I currently have the time to take on such a task. I'll be able to provide an overall EKY Top 20 voted by the open public. I'll use the same 20 teams in addition to any additional teams receiving votes to show a breakdown by class as well. It will look similar to the NCAA Rankings showing each team's Points Received as well as First Place Votes so fans will know how much distance separates them from other teams in the rankings. 20 Points will be awarded for a 1st place vote while 1 point will be awarded for a 20th place vote.

But to be totally fair and better stats, "more the merrier". Again thank you for you time and it looks like we may have a person to do so. We should start a thread to see if many are interested. Their will be several teams no one knows. But we should stress honest reporting not biased guesses. Tomcat68 hope you know what your getting into....LOL.

The Commodore 64 was a reliable and affordable home computer. It absolutely could not produce such garbage.
They HAVE to be using Apple products.

Once we get to about the 6-7 week of the season you will began to see these LIT rankings more accurate. Right now they give points for ither playing up in class, or blowing a team out by 50 pts.

Hey FBALL, just wondering if the boy's down the road looked at these rankings. They have Raceland ahead of us on the percentage points. They even have them ahead of Beechwood.
