Nice game AC. The Rebels got off to a slow start when Jenkins scored on the kick-off. The Rebels woke up fast and kept them from scoring the extra-point. On a postive note Prater and L. Crowder had a couple of interceptions- but on a negative- AC also threw a few interceptions. L. Crowder had some nice long runs setting up AC for a few touchdowns. H. Crowder and J. Jackson scored 2 touchdowns each. H. Crowder found his way to the endzone a 3rd time with a long drive and pretty much dragging 4 cavaliers with him. Unfortunatley-AC had the penalty plague going last night. Too many times the AC offense cost themselves some big plays with stupid penalties. Hopefully- The Rebels got the penalty plague out of their system tonight. All in all - A good game for The Rebels.

Nice to see AC going in the right direction. Too bad this wasn't a district win like in years' past. Last year, this game was a 56-6 drubbing by Jenkins. It's pretty safe to say that AC could realistically be 3-0 when they get to their Week 4 date with Paintsville.

Did some searching and the last time they won the opening game of the season was in 2006 when they beat Besty Layne 26-20 in triple overtime. I ought to be ashamed of myself because I was there!

I had to laugh at your question Stat. I thought the same thing last night- and then remembered the AC vs. BL game with a triple OT win. Like you said- kind of shameful considering I too was there.
