Starting tonight at 9pm, with the Southwest Regional final, begins about 2 weeks of Little League games on ESPN/ESPN2, with at least 1 televised game every day, except for a couple days with softball right before the World series starts. All regional finals are once again televised as well as the majority of World Series games.

Noticed that Bowling Green East plays in the regional semi-finals tomorrow nite, as the 1 seed, for a chance to play in the Great Lakes Championship game on ESPN Saturday nite. Good Luck guys.

Indeed it was. Seems like it's scripted or something. I mean, the first televised game and it is a doozy.

I love the LLWS...I remember when that team for Owensboro won it all, they had a great pitcher.

Owensboro has never won the LLWS. The only team from KY to ever win the LLWS was Louisville Valley Sports in 2002. The pitcher for LVS was big Aaron Alvey.
They had Zach Osborne and Alex Hornback playing for them as well. They were also members of this years KY State High School Baseball Championship team from Pleasure Ridge Park.

What is the fastest pitcher that someone has seen throw this year in the World Series? I have seen almost every team and I believe the kid from Washington threw around 78-79. Have I missed someone who threw harder?
