Worst case 7-3, best case 10-0...

I'll say 8-2 with loss to JC and either LCA or Pburg.
Narrow semi-final loss to Belfry to finish 11-3

10-0 going into playoffs. Should be a great semi final between Breathitt an Belfry/Russell. Don't look for Breathitt to put 11 on line of scrimmage on defense this year if they get that deep. Not a good defense IMO against a powerful running team, unless you have that much more speed than the opponent, Belfry made them pay terribly. One hole and it is 6 pts.

My prediction is 7 and 3. Losing to Johnson Central, Prestonsburg, and LCA.

8-2

I would be shocked if Breathitt finishes 10-0 this year. They will be good, but Johnson Central is a tough first game. Also Harlan will be a tough opponent for them. Never underestimate a Larkey coached football team. 8-2 is my prediction with a loss to Johnson Central and one other opponent.

If Breathitt beats Johnson Central, they may have a let down against Prestonsburg. Prestonsburg seems to always play Breathitt tough and I have always enjoyed watching the games. If Breathitt finds a way to beat JC, they have a real good shot at going 10-0. I believe Breathitt can at best go 10-0, and at worst 7-3. I will be waiting to see how good the Harlan County team is, that should be Breathitt's biggest test as far as the district part of the schedule.

Da Bears will be tested right off the bat when they play Letcher. However, this will be the real deal to see how they are improving under Coach Larkey.

Good points, but by the time Breathitt comes to town Coach Larkey should have most if not all of the kinks works out. Plus it will be the first home game for the Black Bears emotions will be running high and as I said in another post the fan support is going to be unbelievable! It should be a very competitive game. Go Bears!
