Freshman Patrick Patterson has been named the SEC Freshman of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday. It is his third weekly honor from the league this season. The 6-8 Huntington, W.Va. native averaged a double-double (17.0 ppg, 10.0 rpg) on the week, helping Kentucky to a weekly sweep of Georgia and Arkansas and a 6-0 record at home in league play.
