Kentucky basketball has been known to have some great names for their best teams over the years, Fiddlin' Five, Rupp's Runts, Unforgettable's, Untouchables. 

I seen someone had posted this on X (the everything app) and the name for this team basically wrote itself, ReMARKable. 

Sure was a great time and so much fun watching this team, through all the ups & downs, injuries and adversity, this team battled their way through, some incredible moments, big time wins and new energy for this program moving forward. 

I'll never forget this team.

Agreed defiantly a fitting name for this group.  Hope it catches on.

I am not trying to be a jerk, but I don't think this team deserves a name. While I really liked the team and preferred it over all the one-and-done's, they only made it to the Sweet 16. This is UK. Sweet 16 isn't good enough despite all the obstacles, IMO. If they had made the Elite 8, maybe.

We hadn't gotten to the Sweet 16 in the last 13 years. So I do think we had a reMARKable season.

I guess there's always one in every crowd, but it really was remarkable as to how this team was constructed and put together in a such a short time, remarkable despite all the injuries that occurred, that they made the sweet 16 at all.

This team may not be deserving of an actual name, but this was still a great team, and fun to watch.

Granny Bear, any time you have ever disagreed with me, in the past, you have been wrong.  This is no different.  Whatever name you have bestowed on this team, I hereby rescind it.
