Final. A great game! Coach Mays has the Indians into tomorrow's semifinals vs. the Great Crossing vs. Cooper winner.

Davidson Sheppard’s cousin almost single-handedly beat them. He’s stud.

Davidson had 36 and 41 in the two games. I don’t know who was considered the front runner for Mr. Basketball next year before now, but he has definitely made himself one of the favorites.

Davidson, has come into himself on the basketball floor recently and will be a force to contend with next season IMO.
From watching those state games I can see a Mr. Basketball in the making here!

Being reeds cousin don’t really help you at this point, his brother was reeds cousin too. It was just a matter of time before this was coming, but being someone’s family member isn’t going to make you the player that Reece is, Reece is the player he is because of his work ethic. He will have north as one of the favorites to win a state championship next season. Power 5s will be calling this summer. Has a chance to win the 13th 3 of the 4 years of his high school career and a elite 8 dominating performance, with one season left

It would be hard not rank them first in the region after what they did to close this season. Corbin and Bell will also be very good, but how could you rank Corbin ahead of them after the beating in the regional?
North should be top 10 in the state in 2026 with four starters back.

100 percent the favorite to win region next year, and he just took them to the elite 8 so I’m not sure what the suprise of him putting them in the state championship contender is? His improvement from the start of the season to the finish is elite, and he still has a year of high school left. And yes the power 5s are fixing to start offering him, he was the best player at the state tournement and it wasn’t even close

Davidson kid is the real deal, he had 41 but had to earn them, really got shut out in the 3rd quarter as the MoCo defense really keyed in on him and was basically one of those, you can get yours let the rest beat us type of game, and he didn't get much help from his teammates. He did have some costly turnovers down the stretch, but he is still a great player with a great future ahead of him. Really put the state on notice with his performance this past week. If he continues to put in the work, definitely think he could be a D1 player, he has the size & ability, and you can obviously tell the work ethic is there as well. Hope to see him back at Rupp next year.

I will be shocked if NL doesn't do a repeat performance next season. They only have one Sr., There are a couple
of the young guys coming on who will make NL even better than this season. The thing about from now til then, is
who changes schools and shows up where next season? Does a new coach show up and see things differently, make
changes, and build a team even better than this season? A lot to bank on getting from now til then.

NL will be tough next year, and if Montgomery can come up with a strong point guard they also will be rite there.

I mean they completely ripped his jersey in the second half, that was all they could do to slow him down and he still came up with 23 second half points on 9-12 shooting that’s not really shutting him out

South was the clear-cut favorite this time last year and through part of this season. Some had them in a league of their own in December.
North is and will be the favorite, It's not a lock at this point though. Corbin and Bell bring back a lot of talent, and there could be someone like North this year that wasn't ranked as high as they had been for several years previously.

Mays will be at Montgomery County next year. He likes it there and his home is 25 minutes away in Stanton. And his wife is the middle school principal at McNabb and seems to be very satisfied.
A move would be the third for the family in seven years and I don’t think that is happening. Loading the UHauls up and moving is a big undertaking and can get old quickly.

Some people had them as a favorite, but the past tells us he really wasn’t the favorite 1 region championship with the 13th region all star team is pretty lackluster in 15 years, just can’t win at the Corbin arena
