Kentucky vs. Florida Predictions
#1
Opening line has Florida as a 1 point favorite.

Gators lost Graham Mertz for the season during this past weekend's Tennessee game. Backup DJ Lagway had already been a fan favorite in Gainesville.

Need to hold serve against Murray State and take two of four from Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, and Louisville to be eligible for a bowl. Left out one remaining game because I'm not seeing a world where Kentucky beats Texas in Austin.

This is a game of 2 programs on the decline, as bad as it's been for Kentucky, may be just as bad for Florida. Losing your starting QB for the season who was already on the outs sure didn't help but may be a boost for a team that desperately needs it.

Obviously a must win for both teams, if Kentucky can somehow pull it out, don't see how Billy Napier survives the rest of this season.

Hoping for a Kentucky victory, but if they play anything remotely close to the Vandy game, gonna be a long night in the swamp.

We're already in the sh!tter. The Vandy game was a reminder of South Carolina. A loss to the lowly Gators and the season spirals out of control to its ultimate death in the pits of football hell.

Could either of these two dregs of college football beat Boyle County?

Be another tough one.  Florida took Tennessee to OT before falling short.

Again,  hoping UK bounces back this game,  like they did after the SC game.

Like some others have said, we need to snag a few more SEC game's,  to make a bowl.

I'd honestly give Boyle a leg up over UK right now in certain aspects of the game!

Shoot,  maybe throw Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite,  in there at qb.  Give him a shot  Big Grin

Karl from Sling Blade,  said he never really got picked for football!
This could be his chance!

I'm just not optimistic about the UK team at all. The defense is as tough as they come but the offense is nonexistent. If the D can get a score to help the offense then yes UK has a shot to win.

^^^Me neither. I have been wrong on almost every UK game this year, including Ole Miss and UGA. I can't pick Kentucky to beat anyone at this point especially on the road, so I'll take Florida and hopefully continue to be wrong.

No way Napier survives a loss to Kentucky.

Florida's remaining schedule is absolutely brutal as well. They'll have a bye after Kentucky, then have games vs. Georgia, at Texas, vs. LSU, vs. Ole Miss, and at FSU in November.

Here's to hoping they've seen what's ahead of them and have already checked out.

Why is Beau Allen on this team......he has to be better than the sponge bob they are throwing out there now........

FIRE STOOPS, MID GAME, RIGHT NOW>

Great idea. That's a real possibility, right there. Mid game, yeah, great thought. I'm sure Mitch appreciates that wisdom.  I wish chicken & dumplings made me think genius thoughts like that. Well done, sir!

what in the hell happened to the defense tonight? Did Stoops forget how to tackle, Plantman?

Idk what to say about the result of this game.  I had plenty to say but forgot it all,  after deer hunting most of today  Big Grin

Just gotta keep moving forward the best we can, just trying to stay positive.

I do think Florida's new qb done a heck of a job against us.  Our defense had a rough night.  They've carried us most of the year.  They were bound to have a off night at some point.

On to the next one.

Had a feeling this game wouldn't go well, but to lose by 28 points and give up nearly 50? Just absolutely embarrassing and flat performance.

Really don't have much else to say. I guess Florida was less of a dumpster fire than Kentucky, and Napier had his team better prepared to play & win, as is usually the case when teams play Kentucky.
