Great win, gutty win. But let's be honest, Ole Miss is nowhere near the 6th best team in the country. I'm not so sure they are really better than KY. Really good road SEC win, nevertheless.

Good point OSH.  UK has been Ole Miss toughest opponet to date.

I believe Ole Miss plays SC next.  That'll be a dangerous game for them.

If I looked right UK has a bye this coming week.

UK has a bye next week, then Vandy at home, at Florida and Auburn at home. Being 6-2 going into the Tennessee game is not out of the question.

It certainly isn't. Three very mediocre opponent, at best. But it's UK football. Something tells me they'll find a way to screw the pooch in one of them.

Gotta give these players and coaches credit. If we're gonna criticize them when they're bad we have to be fair and credit them for doing good. They could have packed it in after South Carolina. No one expected much of them after that performance. They were so bad at even the basic fundamentals in that game.

We all expected a 40 or 50 point blowout loss to Georgia and a dismembering at Oxford. Instead, they darn near pulled off the shocker of the top-ranked Dogs and pulled out a tough, gutty road win against Ole Miss. Kudos to the players and coaching staff for believing in themselves and persevering. What looked like a 2 or 3-win team after the South Carolina debacle, now looks like a team that could win 7 or 8 games. Kudos!!!

I'll have to say, I was definitely expecting the worst in this game. I know Ole Miss hadn't played anyone yet, but just had a feeling that they were going to prove everyone that being a 17.5 point favorite was the right call.

Boy was I wrong and not afraid to admit it.

Kentucky defense is very very good, they're D-line with Walker & Oxendine is nearly unstoppable, and they were in the Ole Miss backfield all game.

Was really glad to see the offense clicking, mainly the QB, Vandagriff played a great game, tough as nails but he's gonna have to learn and slide on those runs, no way he can keep taking some of the hits he took. O-line play wasn't great in pass pro, but Vandagriff still had enough time in the pocket to make plays or roll out and make something happen. Run game is the O-line bread & butter, really showed in this one.

Just glad that Stoops gave them a chance on the 4th down bomb to Brown, know there was less time left than in the Georgia game, but I was honestly waiting for a punt bc they were so deep in their own territory and that he would send the defense out to get stops bc they were playing so good, but credit to him for making the call, and what a play call on top of that, Kiffin said they were expecting none of that, for them to go on 4th, nor the play call either.

Ole Miss may have not been deserving of their #6 ranking, but that is something the record books can't take away, first top 10 road victory since 1978.

Dare I say it, maybe there is some hope for this season?? In the meantime, I will still hope for the best but expect the worst.
