Jon Walker former South Laurel coach has reached a plea deal and will serve jail time.  

"As part of the agreement, Walker’s potential 12-month sentence would be suspended for 24 months if he serves 60 days in jail, surrenders any teaching certifications and does not coach youth athletics in the future."

From what ive been told this week. A juror knew a witness. So the trial got reset for later date. Then covid hit. 2 yrs later the mom dont want the publicity or her daughter going on trial. So they agreed to let him plea. The plea went from class d felony min 5 years, to a single count that gave him jail time and probation, but he did not have to register on the list. HOWEVER, part of his probation is that he had to give up teaching certificate and could not coach youth of any kind. ill try to link an article. My question is, if this is true, how are school systems allowing him TO FILM GIRLS THE SAME AGE HE RAPED? Not only does he go school to school for We Elite filming games, but apparently he is now doing Volleyball games at Perry Central. Well he was, prob wont be now lol.

It seems that he should have had to register as a sex offender. IF that is the case, looks that would be a violation.

Luckily for him, his plea kept him off that list. But he has a probation condition to not coach or teach. Would a person asked by the head coach to film games be considered coaching? I know its creepy either way. Dont know about legal, but their is only one question: WHY IS HE FILMING ANY HS AGE GIRLS AT THIS POINT? He is less then 1 yr out from pleading GUILTY. Not accused, but PLEAD GUILTY to sexual abuse. He actually was accused of. Sexual ASSAULT. 2 major different things. But 1 yr later he is inside schools filming girls..... HOW?

The plea agreement obtained by WYMT from the Laurel County Circuit Clerk’s office states the charge was amended from a first-degree sexual abuse charge.

As part of the agreement, Walker’s potential 12-month sentence would be suspended for 24 months if he serves 60 days in jail, surrenders any teaching certifications and does not coach youth athletics in the future.

If he violates any of the conditions, he could be required to serve the full sentence.

Walker’s sentencing is scheduled for September 14.

He was specifically asked by Perrys Head coach to film her games. Its ok though. Its not up to me to decide if this is a violation.

Funny you say that, he has been at EVERY HOME GAME. Lets get this thread more attention. More parents should see this.

We Elite has filmed zero live events this season. 33 weeks ago they did 3 grade school basketball games and ZERO volleyball all season.
Kinda strange they all of a sudden have 2 live events for Perry Volleyball this season, no? I mean i guess this child PREDATOR just thought it would be nice to show up and film HS girls out of the blue?
Come on, hes either doing this to get his rocks off on young girls........OR The head coach asked him to film their games? Knowing he shouldnt be doing that, he then had to throw 2 up for We Elite to cover his ass?
