Ain’t nothing wrong with transferring.  Why should a kid be trapped playing for a politic playing Ahole coach only in it for the extra paycheck?  See it all the time.  If transferring is all we got to worry about then the world is still in pretty good shape.

I agree. I have no issues with it. It’s just funny how some act as of it only happens in certain areas. This thread shows it is everywhere and has always been that way. If a kid wants to better themselves why shouldn’t they be allowed. As adults we switch jobs to better ourselves. If we aren’t happy with a situation we go somewhere else. We shouldn’t be forced to stick around some thirst aren’t happy with. Same for kids whether sports or academics.

If the KHSAA allows this crap, it would be pitiful. Dating back a few years this school has brought in kids from South Sudan, Baltimore, tried to bring in a kid from Canada (who had previously already graduated), a kid from Texas (who they sent back mid season), and now these new kids they are trying to get there.  Does it not raise a red flag, that all of these kids only play basketball, and are brought to the bright lights and big town of Owingsville for that only?  Also rumor is that the kid from Chapmanville is out of eligibilty in WV and somehow would be eligible in KY?

If he is out of eligibility, how can the KHSAA rule him eligible?  Wouldn’t they contact Chapmanville in the vetting process to grant his eligibility?  Bath is being way too sloppy and recruiting kids openly now.  It has to blow up in their face soon.  Too many people know and I can’t imagine that someone in their district hasn’t called the KHSAA on them by now.  It will be interesting to see how it plays out. Rumor is that there is a 63rd district team doing the same thing. They are letting a team dad recruit pretty heavy too. This above the law mentality is going to get some schools in trouble.
