2-8. Should beat KC if Partin kid leaves, and should beat South Laurel.

I'll be interested to see how the Rhymer era begins. It's an interesting first game as he will take on some of his former assistants. I see the colonels finishing 3-7. I think the Colonels have 2 locks for wins in South Laurel and Scott (TN). I think the Colonels have a shot to beat Knox, Harlan, and Perry. With that being said  I think the ceiling is 5-5.

2-8 at best.

I'd say 2-8 or 3-7. Winnable games are Knox, South Laurel, and Scott (TN). That said I think they will lose one of the winnable games if not two. South Laurel is the only I feel certain they can't lose.

Whitley doesn’t have a single player who can tackle the Partin kid one on one. Partin will have 300 plus yards and 6-7 Touchdowns.

I agree with that statement that they do not have anyone that is on the same level as Partin. What concerns me about Knox is the other 10 spots. Knox defensively last year gave up an average of 41.6 points a game. So my question is, is 6 touchdowns by Partin enough to win? Partin will by far be the best player in the game, but he will need some help.

The only for sure win I see here is South Laurel and then possibly one against Scott. 1-9 is a real possibility but so is 2 or 3 wins if the ball bounces right. I think 3 wins is best case scenario.

Knox was a young team last year that returns a lot and The move to 3A benefits them big time. As for this match up, no way Whitley can stop Partin so Knox wins this one by a couple TDs. As mentioned, Knox defense was terrible last season and is a big question for them that will have to be worked out. It would also not surprise me to see Whitley give up 40+ per game this season, going to be a long season for the Colonels.

The colonels will give up their fair share of points they gave up 36 a game last year. I think them giving up over 40 a game will happen especially with the kids they lost to graduation. I think the offense will be better offensively with Eier being gone and Dee Parker and Tye Hamblin being back.
