Yankees All-Star lefty diagnosed with grade 2 hamstring strain

Cortes has withdrawn from the World Baseball Classic due to the injured hamstring. He will not throw off a mound for the next two weeks. Kyle Freeland of the Rockies will take the vacated spot on the Team USA roster.
