Desantis

Republicans appear ready to claim more registered voters than Democrats in Florida for the first time in modern political history, Politico reported.
Democrats had 23,055 more registered voters than Republicans in the Sunshine State at the end of August — that was down from the 700,000 voters advantage President Barack Obama won the state with in 2008.

"Without a full-frontal, professional and accountable partisan effort to turn it around, sometime before the end of this year, there will be more Republicans registered in Florida than Democrats — that has NEVER happened before," longtime Florida Democrat operative Steve Schale told Politico.

Neither. They are recovering Democrats from corrupt blue states like New York and California.
Once again, liberals are proven wrong by actual facts. Florida continues to pursue a very effective strategy to deal with the pandemic, despite Joe Biden's attempts to undermine its efforts.

Quote:Latest COVID-19 Data Shows the Left Got It Dead Wrong About Florida, DeSantis

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has been one of the left’s favorite targets, especially amid the ongoing COVID-19 saga. Democrats and the activist media have pilloried the governor for refusing to enact the same type of onerous and draconian restrictions that other states have imposed on their residents. They claimed he was responsible for getting Floridians killed, while paying very little attention to former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who actually did get people killed through his COVID policy.

However, the latest data shows that DeSantis’ approach to the pandemic isn’t as deadly as the left hoped argued. According to a chart published by The New York Times, Florida’s rate of COVID-19 infections is far lower than even the states that have embraced mask and vaccine mandates, and other measures.
The chart shows that Florida’s 14-day rate of COVID cases dropped by 48%. The Sunshine state’s case rate per 100,000 was 13. This means Florida had the third-lowest rate of infections last week — coming in just behind Connecticut and Hawaii, which both have 11 cases per 100,000.

According to Click Orlando, this was the fifth week in which cases declined. WDW News Today reported that on Wednesday, the state “reported 2,505 new cases of COVID-19, making the 7-day average below 3,000 cases for the first time since July 7” and that “the positivity rate has been declining since mid-August.”

During the summer months, COVID rates and hospitalizations surged in Florida. Democrats took this as an opportunity to attack DeSantis. However, rates also rose in almost every other state. While addressing an audience in August, DeSantis said:

Quote:What we’re going to see is that — you’re already starting to see — but because you don’t have the herd immunity through the vaccinations, you’re going to start to see winter and fall waves in the Northern states. We have a summer season, but you’re going to see that, and so I think that that’s something that should be stressed more and more.

In September, the governor announced that he obtained more doses of crucial monoclonal antibody treatments for COVID patients despite the fact that President Joe Biden had cut the supply to Florida. “We should be doing everything we can to get patients monoclonal antibody treatments, not cutting allocations of treatment like the Biden administration has done,” he said.

Many viewed the president’s actions as being politically motivated. High-profile leftists have downplayed the efficacy of monoclonal antibodies, along with every other potential remedy that is not the vaccine.

Florida’s COVID rates have fluctuated just like most other states. But despite the left’s claims that DeSantis’ refusal to enact strict measures ostensibly to combat the spread of the virus, it seems clear this has not had a drastic impact on the numbers compared to other states.
Quote:Florida Reporting Fewer Coronavirus Cases per Capita than Blue States

Florida is reporting fewer cases of the Chinese coronavirus per capita than its blue state counterparts, according to the New York Times’ Saturday data.

The Times’ chart provides the daily average of cases, as well as the number per 100,000. Florida is at the bottom of the list in terms of cases per capita, reporting 10 per 100,000 as of Saturday — a decrease of 42 percent in the last two weeks. Only one state, Hawaii, is reporting lower cases per capita, coming in at eight.
Where have all of the Ron DeSantis bashers gone? This is my favorite thread. Not only does Florida now have the second-lowest COVID-19 infection rate in the nation, it has the nation's hottest economy. DeSantis is the best potential Republican candidate for 2024 and there is no viable Democrat candidate if he decides to run for president and wins the nomination.

Quote:Florida Leads Nation’s Economic Recovery – And It’s Not Even Close

Governor Ron DeSantis’ Florida is lead the nation’s economic recovery last month, and it’s not even close.

This news is hardly surprising, as the majority of states recovering the fastest economically have Republican governors, and Florida has been among the most defiant in standing against lockdowns and other onerous restrictions.

The United States economy gained 194,000 jobs in the month of September, severely missing economists’ expectations. However, Florida alone gained 84,500 jobs during the same period — leading the nation in terms of the largest percentage increase.

Florida’s economy accelerated in September 2021, growing at three times the rate over the month compared to the nation. Overall for the month, Florida gained 84,500 total jobs, including nearly 73,000 private-sector jobs. This month marks 17 months of private-sector job growth, increasing by 5.6% over the year. Florida has experienced this magnitude of monthly private sector job growth on only four other occasions in the past 30 years.
In addition, Florida has experienced 11 consecutive months of labor force increases, adding 50,000 workers over the month. Florida’s labor force growth represents a 5.4% increase over-the-year, which is significantly higher than the national rate of 0.8%. In total, Florida has gained more than one million jobs since April 2020.

Once the facts come out for all to see the lying propagandists bail and move on to the next far left propaganda lie and hope nobody notices...rinse and repeat...

DeSantis would be the Democrats worst nightmare opponent.  At this point in time, he would easily beat the current list of Democratic candidates.

I will track to as many battleground states as possible to do my part in helping defeat him.  It is , by no means, certain that Desantis would defeat Biden. He may even lose his own state to Honest Joe.

A recent Naples(FL)- based poll  shows Biden defeating Praying Desantis in Florida in a hypothetical '24 presidential matchup. Biden defeats Trump by a similar margin.   Most Republicans still want Trump to be the nominee, not Desantis. If Trump really wants the nomination come 2023, then it's his. And that will make me very happy. The twice - impeached, many times-disgraced NY con man would lose big again.  I say, nominate orange Jesus again...  PLEASE!!!

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 42% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Fifty-seven percent (57%) disapprove.

The latest figures include 21% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 48% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -27. link

Joe Biden will not be running against anybody in 2024 because he will not be able to win the Democrat nomination, even if he wants to serve a second term.

This is another thread that has gone very quiet, except for my posts reminding liberals how wrong they were about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis being incompetent and unpopular. He remains a rising star of the Republican Party. Let's go, Brandon!
