Not real surprised by the outcome of this game.  Anyone in attendance want to chime in?  Can LCC play with/compete with Johnson Central.
#2
Congratulations to LCC on another big win!

No. Will be just like the Pikeville game.

Great game for the Cougars.
Have to fix the arm tackling problem, multiple stops in the backfield missed.
Offense looked great with Adams playing the whole game for the first time this season.

The JC game will still unfortunately be the same.

Letcher is having a pretty good season but if they want to take the program to another level they have to start playing a better schedule. I know they played Pikeville but aside from that they will need to play some tougher teams to get better.

LCC looked good but I dont see them coming within 20 points of JC. Cougars still the second best team in the district. PCC seem to miss Hunter on defense and really need an upgrade at QB.

Perry is a district game had to play them. They have played Pikeville and David Crockett who is the 9th ranked 5A team in Tennessee and is 4-2 on season. They also played Hazard who is a class A power most years and had beaten Letcher 9 out of 10 times and you still have Johnson central and Bourbon to play. Even the bad teams on Letcher’s schedule like Pike central was beating Letcher 2 years ago. Letcher has another open date on Oct 15 and I would love to see them play Middlesboro that week since neither has a game. I think Letcher is one of the best 5 or 6 teams in the Mountains this year and could beat anyone except for JC, Pikeville and Corbin. Those 3 teams are in a class by themselves this year. Last night showed everyone just how good that Pikeville team is. LCA is one of the best teams in the state regardless of class and Pikeville give them a heck of a game. Letcher’s region is just so tough right now with Corbin and JC. I’m hoping they will drop to 3A the next realignment.

Just watched playback of this game. Why did the officials never call holding on LCC? It was so obvious. They hold more than about any team I have ever saw. Not sure they called it one time. Dont like to say anything about zebras but no wonder LCC dominated the game.

I don’t think it would’ve changed much. Perry got calls all night and so did LCC that whole crew is terrible tons of missed calls on both sides but it wouldn’t of made a difference

Every time Adams had a big run 2 or 3 of LCCs kids had ahold of PCC players with both hands. Dang do your job refs or quit. Perry held some to but they didnt hold or tackle LCCs defensive guys. Just watch the film. Good luck to both teams here on out.

Considering Perry couldn’t have scored more than 2 TDS if this game last a week I don’t think it would have mattered but Letcher did get called for well over 200 yards in penalties at Perry last year and still won by 3 TDS. I seen both teams get away with a lot Friday night.

David Crockett was 8 a couple weeks ago and has went down a couple spots they was 11 in 5A after week 5. There only loses are to Letcher and Dobyns Bennet who is ranked 8th in 6A.

#8 Dobyns Bennett beat them easily. They are simply not very good. Football is down in the area. The Morristown teams are not as good as they were.
