McLean County (3-1) travels to Elkton tonight to open district play against the Todd County Central Rebels (2-2).
This will be the 32nd meeting between the two schools, with the series dating back to 1973. Todd County claims an advantage in the series, coming out on top in 16 games to McLean's 15 victories. However, McLean has been on top of the series recently, winning the last 7 straight meetings.
Both teams are averaging 36 points per game. Todd Central is led by the rushing attack of Omarion Riddick, who is averaging 111 rushing yards per game. While, the Cougars are led by receiver Brady Dame, whose 407 yards receiving currently ranks 1st in the state for 2a.
