Final from Pikeville.
This game may look like a blowout, but the outcome was still in doubt into the 4th quarter. Pike Central led at halftime 24-22 after an entertaining, evenly-matched first half.
In the second half, Shelby Valley was led early by its defense, which held PC scoreless until the last few minutes of the game. Valley’s offense really hit its stride late in the 3rd quarter, and the Wildcats exploded for 37 points in the half.
SV was led by QB Russ Osborne, who threw for one TD and ran for 3 more, and RB Jayden Newsome, who ran for almost 200 yards and 3 scores.

Congrats Valley. My brother was working this game, and left when Pike Central had a 2 point lead. He was in shock when I told him the final.
