Not for his own legal problems, it's because Goodell shafted him and won't let him back in.

He feels like he got shafted, and he did, so he's taking it to the US courts in an attempt to have them force Goodell to let him back.

Man if he does get back in that will be awesome. He has done nothing but support his claim to get back in the league so Goodell should have at least rewarded him justly. Goodell brought this on himself.
