Pikeville 59 Magoffin 12

Wow

There is no sense in that. Looks like someone was either trying to pad stats or embarrass a team. So my question is why?

Magoffin use to be a power house in girls basketball, what is going on over there .

Looks to me like a running clock that could have been a lot worse. But what do you expect them to do, go 4 corners and hold the ball? To me that would be more embarrassing as a competitor. Then people would be on sites like this saying “they were just showing them up by playing keep away” or “worst game I’ve seen in 50 years, we need a shot clock”. Coaches and players can’t win for losing with some people. The solution is simple. Keep playing til the buzzer sounds, lick your wounds and get better.

That is a ridiculous statement. Pikeville scored a grand total of 59 points. That is NOT running the score up by any stretch of the imagination. It's not Pikeville's fault Magoffin couldn't throw the ball in the ocean.

Too many snowflakes these days...

59 points is a good half of basketball. Hardly call it running up the score.

They didn’t run up the score , or it would have been really ugly .
