HaHa! I agree with the time out remarks lol I’m going with Knott winning this game because of home court advantage. I do want to see these two teams match up on a neutral floor and with out of region refs. I think it would be a good game.

I’m sure there are some Cordia fans out there who would like to respond to this after all Cordia is a Knott county school and they deserve a gym to play in. JMO

Cordia will have a big enough gym soon for a district tourney host which is over due..I think they need a 14th region gym built as well but we all know knott co won’t allow that..I mean look at Perry they can build 2 brand new schools but can’t make buckhorn a district or region site LOL...you always let the smaller schools take a back burner..I’ll tell you this cordia is 1 coach that is willing to stay (which isn’t hard to find) to stay long term they will become a dynasty in the 14th region over knott to become the next powerhouse..

I anticipated this game to be a good game and it was at times. Congratulations to the Patriots on winning but Knott holds a clear cut advantage at home. I think three or four players fouled out for Cordia. Can anyone explain to me why the players don't communicate with Fugate? One of the top coaches ever to come through the 14th and there is absolutely no coaching that occurs during any Cordia game I've watched. For example, the players fouled out and instead of going to the bench, they just go onto the locker room, all of them. Most players come to the coach for advice during free throws or timeouts but there are no plays drawn up or conveyed during the entire game. Makes no sense. Knott has a nice team but Cordia could be dangerous and I think they will be but communication is key in any sport. Just my observations and things got real chippy last night but the referees kept everything in check very well.
