Clay County 51 Lynn Camp 13
#1
Clay held onto the ball and controlled the line of scrimmage. Pretty much the story of the game.

Congrats to Tiggers

Congrats Tigers

Would be lying if I said it didn’t feel good to put up a lot of points. I thought the Tigers may win but in a much closer game. Clay County has had many running clocks put on them over the last 8 years; with all due respect we aren’t going to apologize. In fact, I believe the Tigers only scored 3 times in the 2nd Half and 2 of those were JV scores. I could be wrong. Nevertheless, can’t help but think about how they should be 3-0. Nothing against Lynn Camp, hope they do well the rest of the year.

Clay County dominated the game. All
Aspects. Lynn Camp line play is awful which makes you wonder what are they doing in practice. Zero discipline. Offensively Lynn Camp couldn’t do anything. The special teams were a disaster. Every aspect of the game Clay County outcoached and outplayed the Camp. It was embarrassing.

I told you Lynn Camp has a horrible team. Cupcakes.

I don’t think Lynn Camp is horrible. I think they could hang with a lot of the Class A teams. After you got past the top 4/5, Camp could play with them. They are not disciplined though. They have terrible middle school coaching and a lot of the freshman getting playing time have terrible fundamentals.

They play like a middle school team.

My question is why Clay County is even schedulingLynn Camp.

Lynn Camp beat Clay last year in a scrimmage. So I’d say it’s more of Lynn camp just losing a lot of seniors.

This question drives me crazy. Why wouldn't they? Clay County has won less than 3 games for the last 10 years. You want them scheduling 6A opponents to "get better"? Or should they schedule teams that are on their level competitively, to build a program and community support.

This wasn't Trinity scheduling a 1A team. This is a struggling 4A team that scheduled a team that last year was a top ten 1A team.

They need wins. And Sizemore is getting them wins. This is a program on the rise.
