Eventually, an uneven kicking game, or defensive weaknesses, or a low percentage passing game, are all going to be tested in some form or fashion against a team like Mayfield.
If PT has solutions, it could be a nail biter. This is not the best PT team to play Mayfield in the past 13 years. Mayfield beat a very good Memphis team (11-1 last year) in their opener and IMO that should be more instructive than the near miss against Hoptown.
The longer PT's offense stays on the field and controls the pace, the better their odds are to win.

No team plays their best every week.
Tilghman needs a passing game to compete against Mayfield and to go far in 3A.
It's true that if PT can shorten the game it increases their odds but if they fall behind by 2 scores then they will have to go to the pass.
Mayfield just needs to do what Mayfield does and they will be fine.

It will be a close game in my opinion but I think Mayfield pulls it out, like someone said the streak will be broken sometime, I just don't think it will be tonight.

Just posting so this stays on the top of the Thread Listing. Yes.....this game is that big. It's that important. Anyone know the radio broadcast frequency?

You can listen online here - Click the tornado:

Locally the FM station broadcasting the game is 94.3. I'm not sure about which Mayfield radio station has the games, but they will be there also.

This thread actually is a dump. Never have I been so disappointed in Mayfieldâs fans. They were always a good bunch of talk on their thread that cracked me up. Mayfield football team go out and have a great game so the posters of Mayfield will come back because right now they are lost, have a good game tonight guys and hope for no injuries for either team. Just kidding guys but really have a good one

Last week should of been a wakeup call for the Cardinals. The Tornados are an improved team but just not enough. Cardinal come out and take the wind out of the Tornados leaving them losing 14 in a row to the Cardinals.

No chance of rain tonight.... no tornados either.... PT will put up a fight but i dont know if they have enough to strike down the mighty cards.... in the past when they had good teams they self imploded, but under the reigns of a mayfield head coach i dont see PT getting caught up in yella hankys tonight... hopefully we see a more disciplined tornado team.. all the stars Aligning, i believe they have the talent to get it done.. mayfield high school sold out of tickets early for this game so anyone with out tickets get there early... administers at PT were saying expecting over 8,000 ppl... the paducah faithfull must believe in their team to show up in those kinda numbers is all im saying... this will be a high scoring affair... 45-34 mayfield

Not my call, but couldn't we save the blackouts for cooler weather? The Sun is beating down on this black shirt like Keac on a Tilghman running back.
