Great question. John Hardin would be the first undefeated state champion since Brewers High School in 1948. The 2007 Scott County team is the only team since the 1948 Brewers team to go undefeated IN KENTUCKY and win the state championship. However, the 2007 Scott County team lost two games to out of state teams including a game in the Beach Ball Classic and a split with Huntington High, which was #1 in the nation. Huntington had 6 division one players and two NBA players in their lineup that year.
