Tony can take his and beat you or he can take yours and beat you......pretty simple he is the best coach in the region. Now the serious question is why has he never tried to step out of his comfort zone and go to a real program??? He is certainly good enough but has never taken the leap. Sure he is coaching at his alma mater, but a coach of his caliber generally is driven by more than that.

Man-to-man teams can go to zone when they need to. Zone teams usually can’t go man-to-man. To play good man-to-man you have to be committed to it and play it day in and day out.

Injuries, foul trouble, poor shot selection plagued the Tigers. Adversity reveals character! Are you willing to do the necessary things to win? I hope the Tigers learn from their mistakes and make necessary adjustments to get back on track. If not...South will pistol whip them in front of their home crowd.

Very well said. Often times a zone defense becomes a crutch that teams rely on instead of forcing kids to learn how to strain and play man to man.
