Might be the best game of the All A 15th region.

Paintsville just took the lead 10-9 in the Bottom of the sixth with 2 out on a Shane Grimm hit to center. Grimm on 1st Vanhoose at the plate!

Pugh records the win for the Tigers. SC put up 7 in the first and the Tigers just chipped away at it till the end!

Shew that was a close one, but a win is a win. How many innings did Pugh work?? Someone fill us in with details please.

Paintsville's Miller started and went 2/3 inning giving up 7 runs on 4 hits, 2BBs and 3 PHS errors.
Pugh came in and shut the door.
Paintsville scored 2 in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd, 1 in the 3rd, goose-egged the fourth befor tying the score with 2 more in the 5th.
SC scored 2 in the 6th after a hit batter, base on balls, throwing error and a hit, to retake the lead at 9-7.
In the bottom of the 6th, Paintsville scored 3 runs on 2 walks, and 2 hits.
Pugh pitched his seventh inning with a three up, three down effort.
Pugh gave up 2 runs on 1 hit while pitching 6 1/3 innings.
The Tigers scored 10 runs on 10 hits and 3 Cardinal errors.
SCHS scored 9 runs on 5 hits and 6 Tiger errors.
It is very tough to spot a team....any team, 7 runs and be able to come back and get the W, in 40 degree temps!!! Play better tom. Tigers!

Thanks Guru, sounds like the Tigers shot themselves in the foot a lot tonight. 7 runs in the first and 6 errors on the game.
