Trinity (Louisville) is the best 0-4 team in the continental United States.

This one surprises me not that Male won that they won by 14

Trinity benched the starting QB after he passed for 5 yards in the first half. There was a glimmer of hope with G Smith's return. He rushed for 63 yards. There's nothing else positive to say about Trinity's performance other than keeping their consecutive game scoring streak alive (barely). That stands at 281 games dating to 1998. Now 23-18-2 versus Male all-time.

Trinity could meet Male at the Bulldog home field the day after Thanksgiving to earn the opportunity to play Scott County for the 2018 6A State Title.

Male played an outstanding game and will be a heavy favorite for the remainder of the season.

It is gut check time for the Trinity staff and players and we'll see how many more sophomores are incorporated into starting roles over the next few games.

Keep in mind the Trinity district includes Ballard, Eastern, Jeffersontown and Seneca. The Rocks will face District 1 the first three rounds. The Rocks will be the home team in the third round if they are the higher seeded team or if both number 1 seeds survive.

Always love seeing a public school beat a private school

Trinity has proven nothing so far this season. I look for them to be a factor later but they aren't as talented as they have been.

Congrats Male, you played well and deserved the win.

Trinity needs to reexamine the offense before they do anything else. Their output over the last two games has been pathetic. Plays are being read, runners are getting stuffed and passes aren't being caught. Both Male and Moeller have great defenses, but if Trinity wants to win going forward something needs to change.

The good news is that even in the worst case scenario (losing to Naperville and St. X) the Rocks won't have a losing record this year. All four district games are a lock and they're paired with District 1 in the playoffs so they'll make it to the semis at least. Even with a loss in the semis the final record in this hypothetical would be 7-7.
