Knox Central 88 Mercer Co 72
#1
O my
#2
Markelle Turner had 40. Faulkner for Mercer had 29.
#3
Did anyone go to the game to get stats?
#4
Faulkner had 29 for Mercer.
For Knox Central: Adams had 11, Imel had 10, Martin had 14, Kevionte Turner had 15, and Markelle Turner had 38.
#5
Looks like turner played better. Isn't mercer co ranked in the state with the best guard in the state?
#6
Mercer was ranked 17th in the state by the Hearld Leader. Faulkner is who I think you're talking about and he's one of the favorites for Mr. Basketball
#7
Crap.
#8
Did both teams run and gun the whole game? 88 points is a lot of points against a quality team.
#9
Faulkner is a really good player. Amazing athlete. Mercer couldn't contain Turner or keep Martin off the boards. Knox has a great starting 5, and they're really fun to watch play.
#10
Knox can't be that good can they.
#11
Man it got quiet on here. I'm out.
#12
Big win for Panthers.

I was really impressed with Turner for Knox and think they have a solid team with a very legit chance to win region. Mercer has 4 of their top 6 players that play football and have only practiced for about a week and a half. I think that makes a difference with teams that have had their core in the gym since August. These two teams play again on Jan 9th will be interesting to see. My experience with the 13th region on the road is you better be 15 points better than the team you are playing to account for the stripes.
#14
Markelle Turner for Knox is the real deal, he is fun to watch and Knox is a very good team this year
#15
Knox isn't that good. Don't think they have any football players. The game will get called better next time. uk1. Lol.
#16
Knox is a contender. Congrats on a nice win.
#17
To be fair Knox has 3 starters that play football as well
#18
Trevon Faulkner played football so this comes off as an excuse to me. No one mentioned football when Mercer County was winning their games to start the season.
