Schedule Importance
#1
I have seen teams get 20 wins but hardly ever plays a team with a winning record. Some teams may not get to the 20 win mark but plays a shedule full of teams with winning records or at the top of the region. Which is more beneficial?

Scheduling is an art. You should play enough games you are favored to win, to build confidence. You must also play games that you are challenged in, that you are the underdog in, to improve and prepare for the post season. The other games should be 50-50 type games. Just my humble opinion. That looks to be about a third of each type on your schedule! There's a fine line between too easy and too challenging. Sometimes coaches over schedule and it kills their teams confidence. Other times teams under schedule and never reach their full potential. It's not easy, you just don't sit down in front of the computer with your phone and roll through it!
