Clay Co. 56, Jackson Co. 55
#1
Will Sexton hits a free throw with four seconds left, then Jackson misses three at buzzer allowing Tigers to avoid big upset and advance to region.

The Tigers were lucky to escape with a win tonight. They'll have to play much better if they want the game against North Laurel to even be close.
#3
Was it a good call to put clay on the line with 4 sec
#4
It was a great call.
#5
Wasn't at the game but heard that was a legit call but their was a questionable one right before they gave clay the ball.

There were 3 calls at the end of the game that dictated the outcome.........There was a missed charge call in which Jackson County got a bucket and a free throw to put them up 4........next time down the court there was an obvious block on one of Clays players that was called a charge and that took away a bucket and free throw......kind of a make up call........the charge that Hall took to give Clay the ball with about 18 secs left was legit.......he was set and the Jackson player ran over him.........I love Clay County basketball but I'm telling you if North Laurel doesn't win the district by double digits at least they need to run Brad Sizemore out of Laurel County....There is no way that Clay should play with them on Thursday night......but Clay did beat them the last time they played at Clay so who knows.

Clay dodges a big bullet in this one. They are going to have to play way better if they want to beat North Laurel.

Great game to all involved. Good luck to clay and keep your heads up Jackson county
