Peyton is a awesome ball player but must we focus so much on these damn clubs? This is another problem with sports today. Kids and parents are to worried about clubs and their own kids and not enough about the team they are committed to playing on. Do away with the clubs. Do away with AAU and you will start to see the true talent come back again in teams. Not self but TEAM

How do you know who even posted the thread? Peyton and his family have zero control of what is posted...in the world we live in today and all the crap teens get into and cant get out of i think its good to hear good things. I am just a fan and enjoy the games. Its not life or death. Perspective ..its just a High School sport

No one said Peyton's family posted. I said we shouldn't focus about clubs. There doesn't need to be a club for anyone to see Peyton Is a mighty good player. This kid gives it all he has at every game I have watched him in. I said when we have these clubs they before the most important factor for players and their family.

Aau is 2 hundred thousand times more important than any high school game most kids play. Just way it is now.

It's getting to the point and really already there. Kids could not play high school and just hit the circuit and be better off.

AAU isn't producing better players. It is about$$$$. Overall, it seems to be trending toward individual stats, which mean nothing if your team doesn't win. When one person shoots more than half of a teams shots, the opposing team doesn't have to look far for a defensive plan.

Catfan09 I may have not said it way I meant. I agree it can hurt high school games but what I meant was that as far as getting recruited aau is where it's at for the better players. A college recruiter can go to a big time aau tourny and see hundreds of kids at one time. They hardly ever go to high school games anymore. Some small local schools still do It's just easier on their budget to go to aau games and see them all.

Now after a college locks in on a kid they are interested in from watching aau then they will show up at a high school game to show kid they are really wanting them.
