15th Region Rankings Week #3
#1
The bottom half will work itself out maybe in a few more weeks. Thoughts?

1 Johnson Central
2 Sheldon Clark
3 Magoffin Co
4 Pikeville
5 Lawrence Co.
6 East Ridge
7 South Floyd
8 Belfry
9 Pike Central
10 Paintsville
11 Shelby Valley
12 Allen Central
13 Phelps
14 Prestonsburg
15 Betsy Layne
#2
Only change I would probably make is to flip Pike Central and Paintsville everything else looks spot on. Top 3 are pretty interchangeable based on the week.
#3
I think Pikeville should be third and Belfry should be ahead of East Ridge we already beat them
#4
Agreed Pikeville ahead of Magoffin and South Floyd to 6.
#5
When all the boys are eligible at Pikeville this year that could push them in the running of the 1 or 2 spot
#6
This summer Pikeville knocked off Sheldon Clark but they still have one that's not eligible when that happens it could mean Rupp for the panthers
#7
JC
Sheldon Clark
Magoffin
Pikeville
LC / ER/ SF
#8
Anyone saying ER should be ahead of Belfry isn't doing their homework. Belfry beat them in their first game after only 3 days of practice.

1. JC
2. Magoffin
3. Belfry
4. Sheldon Clark
5. Lawrence Co.

Weak scheduling on the parts of teams like: Shelby Valley, Pikeville are reasoning for them being left out of the top 5. I am not impressed by beating Jenkins, Evangelic Christian Academy, etc.

You do realize most teams start out with schedules like that right? Also, Pikeville just almost beat Capitol Christian (MD) on Saturday, who had beaten the #10 ranked team nationally just a few days prior? Pikeville is better this year than people realize.

I do realize that. For that reason, as I explained, I did not put them into the top five that I feel are the best at this point. Pikeville has played one decent team and they lost. Going forward, we will see how they do against South Laurel and a few others. Don't get your panties in a wad brother.

Where did I get "my panties in a wad"? Simply pointed out the realities of early season scheduling. Which you agreed with, I might add. All I'm saying is Pikeville is better than people realize.
