Didn't she have a scholarship to UK?

Didn't she play for Boyd County?
#6
I heard she didn't meet the eligibility requirements for UK so she decided to go to Gulf Coast Community College. Then decided that was too far from home and decided she wanted to go to Alice Llyod and that didn't work out. Last I heard she was in Knott County not going to school... anyone else heard anything?

Kasi is no longer in Knott County. The last time I talked to her she said she was going to try and go back to school. She got a scholarship to play for UK but couldnt meet the requirments. She had intentions on going back to school this year but ended up not going due to family. And yes Creeker she did play at Boyd County for 2 years and then transfered to KCC after her step-dad died.

i'm pretty sure Bree Frazier from Lawrence County is goin to Alice Lloyd

Cool... I hope she works it out so she can go back to school even if she doesn't play ball.

Alice lloyd isnt a D1 school.

Colette Cole played for Breathitt and I beleive she went to EKU.

Kendra Carroll is the only D1 signee for the 15th region this season.

Alice Lloyd college is anticipating Bree Frazier's skills at guard help the Lady Eagles next season.

Pike Central's Haley Ratliff is being courted heavily by a couple of D1 schools with rumor having UT-Chattanoga is leading the pack.

Other seniors like Esther Flemming from Shelby Valley could play at the college level, however look for Pikeville College to sign the multi-talented athlete.

Around Christmas I went to the Breathitt Tournament and saw a woman from Pikeville looking at Kristen Madden (i'm assuming) or Nicole Lutes. But Lutes hurt her head and had to go to the hospital and Madden didn't seem to have on of her best games. I would like to see both of these girls be playing somewhere next year representing the mountains well.

My lil sis plays for Pikeville, but from what I've heard Pikeville isn't recruitin her very hard. Heard Berea was into her heavy.

I doubt one player going to Alice Lloyd is going to make it a D1 school.

Alice Llyod is what is considered a Division II school and will remain so... like Berea, Asbury, Midway, etc...

Schools like Alice Lloyd compete at the NAIA division levels along with other state colleges like Berea, Midway, and Ashbury etc...these schools make up the KIAC.

Pikeville College on the other hand is a state school yet, the lady Bears compete at the Division I level of NAIA.

As stated earlier in previous post, did not intend for Alice Lloyd to be mentioned as a NCAA Div. I school.

Getting back to topic, Kendra Carroll (Paintsville) and Haley Ratliff (Pike Central) are the only two girls at this date that is being recruited by NCAA D-I schools.

Other players may have received mail from D-I schools but, IMO Carroll & Ratliff are the two being "courted".
#19
Well MC had players that were being "Courted" by D-1 schools.

Agreed
#21
Caroll already signed right? Western Carolina? I suspect the Ratliff girl will go D1 too. What are her injury problems by the way? Knee? Ankle?
#22
Ratliff had an ankle problem. She is back to playing and has played well since her return.

I know that Ashley Howard has had several D-1 schools contact her and also come to watch her play. She just hadnt had any contact her that she was seriously interested in playing for. Free education is the most important thing anyway!
