Letcher will score at home... Letcher hit on big plays.. Letcher had no run game. Hazard shit it down. Every time Letcher scored hazard would come right back and score and take the lead.

If letcher central could get their offense going they'd be hard to beat! Their quarterback takes way to long to throw the ball.

After watching the Letcher/Pikeville game.....kinda figured Hazard would have controlled this game a little more.

Not to mention our go to receiver had to sit out due to suspension. Running game has to get better. Player that got suspended is also in our secondary which gave up big plays all night.

He sure would of been nice to have... But others stepped up and Letcher is heading in the right direction..... But I do questioning the 4th down calls to go for it

With Lucas playing he has to be double covered that would have opened up the running game.Hazard could play extra people in the box last night.Sergent does hold the ball way to long and apparently don't understand he can throw the ball away instead of taking all those sacks for big loss.I also might add that he only thinks he can roll left even if it's the short side of the field! Letcher was 5 wide most of the night but when Adams and Maggard ran the ball both had some success ,just not enough carries.Letcher d solid led by Avery Stamper !

Letcher is a physical athletic team. Defensively they are really getting better.
If their offense can control the ball so the D doesn't have to stay on the field too much like in the Pikeville game this team will be very dangerous later in the year. They are physical and have enough talent.
Last night they benefited from two tipped balls that went right to their receivers but they were missing their best receiver.
They played the run hard and held Corey Smith to 185 yards. Blair played very well at qb and had some nice runs and did throw well.
Hazards Oline did struggle at times but lots of teams will struggle with Letchers line and backers, but the Oline is getting better every week and the injured kids are going to be back soon. Adams played some at tackle last night and did well.
Austin Combs will be ready to play on the DLine in 2-3 weeks. Big time talent that will make Hazard better

Yes they did benefit with those tipped balls. If they had went the other way letcher would've been in bad shape. Those tipped balls going their way saved them on offense.

Also if letcher had, had their kicker the outcome may have been different.

Just a 185? That's big numbers considering how much hazard threw the ball.

Hazard simply not very good and would lose to Pikeville or Paintsville.So all excuses about homecoming at Letcher is bs .Letcher had way more penalty yards and was playing without their best player and kicker and almost won.So build yourself up ,make your excuses blue and Gold but fact is you have played 2 bad teams and a average team in LCC .You are not very good right now!

Hazard goes into hostile territory, playing a 5A team, with help from the men in stripes, and still comes away with a W. Pretty impressive. I still think the offensive and defensive awards should have gone to the men in stripes, but what do I know. I'm just a Hazard fan.....

Hitter you are right I think in that Hazard is stil a work in progress. Lots of room to get better. I suspect Pikeville is in same boat. Even by the hazard Pikeville game neither will be in playoff form.
LCC is physically better and could develope into a solid team as the year goes on.
Hazard made several mistakes that could have cost them the game but held on.
LCC seems to always play their hardest against Hazard and Perry.

1 A whines an awful lot about playing big 5A schools. If that's gonna be your case everytime to brag or use as an excuse to whine when you lose maybe you shouldn't play them. Stick to playing your 1A's then problem solved. I've also heard from hazard people about how much Hazard recruits. I guess that's a 1A advantage also. It must be nice to be able to recruit and have a chance to play in two state tourneys! Just sick of hearing refs as an excuse and were small 1A!

Both LCC & Hazard played a great game! If LCC would've had their WR Tannar Lucas, we would've definitely won. All and all, great game!
